Wow, what a year!
We’ve been blessed to have avoided the worst of the wildfires, heat dome, and the flooding of the Sumas Prairie, so we’re still standing.
Our basement flooded a little, but we are lucky to have been west of the worst-hit areas by a few kilometers, so have been able to help some of our neighbours who needed to urgently move livestock out of the icy water using our stock trailer. We only suffered one short delay because of road issues around the milk truck pickup.
